Our Story
Wema Foods is a family-owned business based in Paarl, one of South Africa’s oldest towns, located at the foot of the Klein Drakenstein mountain range near Cape Town. For more than a decade, we have been part of the South African agricultural markets, building strong relationships with farmers, traders, logistics providers, wholesalers, and retailers.
Our deep roots in the Boland region and our commitment to building strong supply networks allow us to provide high-quality, affordable products to communities across the country.
What We Do
We specialise in procuring, bagging, and supplying essential agricultural products, from rice and legumes to maize and blended products.

In addition to sourcing and packaging, we provide advanced cleaning services using modern machinery, including colour sorters, air screen cleaners, gravity tables, and de-stoners. This ensures our clients receive high-purity products that meet strict quality standards.
